公元1506年，明朝第十位皇帝明武宗朱厚照明采用正德年号16年。 正德16年4月明世宗即位沿袭。
这件收藏是明.(正德)年工部督制作慈航普度观音像的。
使用暹粒国家(现泰国)朝贡的风磨铜。 风磨铜的主要成分是红铜和金，其颜色为紫红色，金含量越多颜色越浅。
